SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

Heritage Holiday Safaris is highly conscious of the need to protect the natural environment and valuable cultural heritage. We have therefore initiated a number of projects, to maximize the benefits tourism can bring to local communities. One of these projects is the cooperation with a local family in Panyimur Village, where guests can learn more about the Alur culture as they visit the Amoropii Hot spring. A visit will support community based initiatives, varying from the construction of schools to the supply of clean drinking water and the making of traditional handicrafts.

Heritage Safari Lodge

A mid-range eco-lodge outside of Murchison Falls National Park, 3.5km from the Tangi Gate Access at the starting point for game drive. Different types of accommodation are available, ranging from comfortable thatched en suite cottages to family bandas and safari tented camp, all privately secluded.

Nile Nest Lodge

Set on nearly 15 acres of lawn and garden this luxury safari accommodation on the banks of River Nile offers spacious en-suite rooms complete with a kitchenette and living space.
